All of the scoop paddles I have used has been outstanding and I’ve tried most of them.
Pros:
Paddle plays above its price point. Great power and control overall while maintaining a forgiving attitude. Great paddle for anyone to pick up and enjoy a game with. Edge guard is very durable. Had an accidental scrape and looked thinking it would have a good gash and can barely tell it happened. Has improved my game by adding power to my serves, control of lobs and dinks.
Cons
Only downsides I have encountered thus far is that that the defensive bounce back is slightly less than most other control paddles, which already lack in this category. The other downside is that I have noticed some ball marks on the paddle face that are not removing with cleaning or the rubber eraser. This is my first Kevlar paddle so I’m unsure if this is just a thing with this style of paddle.
Overall I recommend this paddle. It will not be my last Scoop paddle once the others come back into stock!
I've demoed the Kevlar paddle and will buy one! Maybe the best paddle I have used so far! The customer service is top notch as well!
Took a try at Kevlar and I can’t get it out of my hands. Favorite paddle I’ve played with. Ultimate spin and amazing drive shots. I can’t wait to kick butt in a tournament with this!
I've been playing with this paddle for a few weeks and cant believe how much spin it generates. So much fun to play with. Huge sweet spot and lots of power too. Highly recommend!
